A great day at the park...

I met up with 7 mommys, 7 three year olds, and 5 babies for a fun portrait shoot at the park!!! Wow!!! High energy, tons of smiles, lots of games, and best friends, what more could you ask for?

Well...I attemped at 2 different times that day to get some shoots of my daughter and her best friend, Brayden, but neither were interested in having their pictures taken. After all of our efforts, we ended up with 1 shot of the 2 of them facing the camera at the same time. Gotta love children with minds of their own.

I have been getting alot of practice in with my new lights. I am alittle behind on editing and posting new images but I should have a bunch of new stuff by the end of this month. I am loving being behind the camera again!!! I missed it.

one of my best stumblings....

i love texture screens but haven't had too much luck with them, expecially digitally. maybe there are too many options. I have figured out to change the layer mode to darken and have just toally pumped up the brightness and contrast but still not really getting the effects that i want. I really like the effects from the TtV group, I want all that dirt on my photos!!!! I would like an effect that resembles dirt on the end of a film reel. possible?
